Yale International school was established in July 2000 in Uttara. British council approved our school allowing our students to sit for the O'level exams in 2001. From 2002 and onward the school students from our school have been regular in sitting for the O'level exams with satisfactory results. As a result, our school is completely under the British Curriculum.

Academic Offerings
Yale is an English medium school in which all instructions are carried out in English with the exception of the national language, which is taught in bangla.

For children of 3+ years & 4+years (play group and nursery) the aim is to develop intellectual skills through an. understanding of language recognition of letters, numbers and colors.

Children of 5+years and 6+years (KG1&KG 11) follow a programme that includes reading writing , drawing, numbers, music and games.

Students in STD I to SID X (7+years) are introduced to the formal subjects of English Bengali, science and mathematics.

In 2001 Yale had been approved by the BRITISH council for placing Yale students for "O" level examination under EDEXCEL.

The academic session (June -July) for a year includes approximately 185institutional days ,and allows break in July and the prescribed religious and public holidays.
