Pathshala, The South Asian Institute of Photography, is considered by many to be the finest school of photography in the world. Hosting some of the finest professionals in the world, Pathshala has regularly turned out students who have won some of the most prestigious awards in photography, including the National Geographic All Roads, Prix Pictet, Mother Jones and many others. Pathshala students have been selected for the Joop Swart Masterclass and are regularly commissioned by major publications like Time, Newsweek and Guardian. The leading photographers of all major newspapers and wire agencies of Bangladesh, have studied at Pathshala. Pathshala conducts classes for masters students of Dhaka University. Students from Australia and Europe also regularly come to study at Pathshala.
