Magnum Engineering and Construction Limited (MECL) is a subsidiary of Multi Products Limited (MPL), a company founded in 1988. The group specialises in pre-engineered steel buildings, civil constructions, security and fire safety solutions, building automation systems, piping and hydraulic systems, ceiling & lighting systems, urethane & epoxy floorings, circular air ducts, effluent treatment plants and various building solutions.
Some of its clients include Asian Paints, VIP Suitcase, GlaxoSmithKline Bangladesh, Softex Sweater, Nestle Bangladesh, Unilever Bangladesh, Pfizer Bangladesh, Square Pharmaceuticals, Hotel Sarina, Akij Textile Mills, Apex Footwear, Bashundhara Paper Mills, British American Tobacco, S. Alam Steel Mills, PHP Steel Mills, Keya Cosmatics, BRAC, KAFCO and many more. One of its completed projects is the construction of the largest float glass plant in Bangladesh for Nasir Glass Industries, the first of its type covering over 525,000 square feet of floor area using PEB steel products.
