Islamic University of Technology (IUT) at Dhaka, Bangladesh is a subsidiary organ of the Organisation of the Islamic Conference (OIC) representing fifty-six Islamic countries. It was initially established as the Islamic Centre for Technical and Vocational Training and Research (ICTVTR) on the recommendation of the Ninth Islamic Conference of Foreign Ministers (ICFM) held in Dakar, Senegal in 1978. The foundation stone of ICTVTR was laid on 27 March 1981 on the 30-acre land donated by the Government of the People's Republic of Bangladesh. It was renamed to "Islamic Institute of Technology" in the twenty-second ICFM held in Casablanka, Kingdom of Morocco in 1994. The current name, Islamic University of Technology, was approved by the twenty-eight ICMF held in Republic of Mali on 25-27 June 2001. IUT campus is located in a picturesque setup at Gazipur, 30 km north of Dhaka, the capital city of Bangladesh.

With due respect it is stated that I have passed my DAE (Electronics) exams from PBTE in year 2009. I have secured 75% marks in DAE and 38% marks in NTS' test duly conducted in 2009. So, I would be pleased if you kindly provide me following informations:

i am a Bangladeshi.i 've completed bachelor of science in electrical and electronics engineering from khulna university of engineering and technology since 1994 with grade 3.33 out of 4 and working as a sub divisional engineer in Bangladesh power development board under ministry of power,energy and mineral resources since 1994.now i 'wld like to complete master degree in same subject if iut provide scholarship for me.send me all particular for the same purpose and help me about the admission in master program in electrical and electronics engineering.

Darul Ihsan University is a purely non-profit educational institution. Like many other private Universities of the country, it is also being developed out of the funds/contributions made available through net surpluses of the students' fees and donations of the benevolent personalities/institutions from home and abroad. The greatest of all contributors was the Late Professor Dr. Syed Ali Ashraf himself. In addition to his two houses located on 20 Katha land in Dhanmondi, he has also donated 13 acres of land in Savar and one residential flat in Cambridge towards the development of Darul Ihsan University. Qatar Charitable Trust, Iqra Charitable Society (Jeddah), Sheikh Ahmed Salah Jamjoom, Dr. Aleem Mohammed (Trinidad, West Indies) and some other foreign agencies have made significant contributions to the University.
