East West Medical College & Hospital (EWMCH) was founded in 2000 by Alim Foundation. It is a registered institution permitted by Bangladesh Ministry of Health and Family welfare and affiliated by Dhaka University and recognized by BMDC.

The Medical College offers five years MBBS course for local and international students. It has a beautiful educational and training environment, adequate teaching staffs, adequate number of patients in the hospital for teaching of the students, and hostel facilities.

Eligibility for Admission:
Students who have passed H.S.C or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry and Biology, are eligible to apply.

Educational Requirements:
1. GPA obtained in S.S.C and H.S.C must have at least a total of 8.00 and must not be below 3.5 in any examination.
2. GPA must be minimum 3 in Biology in HSC
3. Equivalent certificate of mark sheets of A and O level and international Students should be obtained from office of the Director General Of Health services, (Director, Medal Education) Mohakhali, Dhaka and must be submitted with application from.

The Selection for admission is controlled by the D.G Health, Mohakhali, Dhaka.

Admission Fees
for local Bangladeshi students the admission fee is Taka 11,50,000/=

for foreign students the admission fee is US$ 15,000.
The total cost for foreign students is US$30,000, it includes tuition fees and examination fees.

Prof. Dr. Md. Zaforullah Chowdhury MBBS, M. Phil, Ph.D. is the principal of this Medical college.
