Re: Unexpected Delay of Tier 4 Student Visa Processings of British High Commission, Dhaka on a regular basis.

Dear Sir

We are writing this letter regarding our recent visa application under Tier 4 points based. We are the people living in different area in Sylhet. You know most of the Sylheti people lives in the modern and civilized country UK. Therefore, we have a dream to visit or see in the most beautiful country in the world. Beautiful programme UK student visa under tier 4 gave us the new opportunity for full fill our dream. Therefore, we are making preparation to submit our student visa application to the BHC and then we were ready our bank statement, taking admission to the college, collecting appointment to the VFS (VFS Global is a commercial company, working in partnership with the UK Border Agency at the British High Commission here in Bangladesh providing services to help people apply for a visa to enter the United Kingdom) and then finally submit our file to the British high Commission in the different dates. As an example the dates were 03/04/2011, 05/04/11, 11/04/11, 12/04/11, 13/04/11, 17/04/11 & 19/04/11. According to the British High Commission procedure it need only TEN working days but our files almost takes more than that. It is mentionable that the dated of 25/04/2011 file has been complete the processing and file also been out to the British high Commission. But our file is still processing to the British High Commission. Therefore, we are little bit confuse and fill very much worried about our file. It is our question to the High Commission authority why they take much more time for delay or why they did not mention regularity. Therefore, we are afraid in this matter. If the British high commission think it will take much time for refused, then please refused our file as soon as possible or complete processing as soon as possible. I know we the people of under third world or poor country in the world and most of the people of our country suffering much for many reason. There is no right to the British High commission Authority to gave us mental pressure for the delay of processings. Just think what you do when this dealing make with you or your countries citizen?

You know Bangladesh is a developing country and most of the people are facing difficulty for earning and living. Inflation rates are high, product price is high and day by day people become poor and poor. But we the new generation makes a dream to complete a degree from the UK and came back to our country, attend to make our mind to develop our country what we learn to the modern and civilized country of the UK

In view of the above circumstances we are strongly believe that the UK Border Agency will see to the matter with importance and take necessary initiatives steps for the benefit of the common people.

Sincerely yours

On behalf of Sylheti student Md. Basir Miah, Md. Abul Hussain, Gopal Chandra Dey, Ajoy Chandra Dey, Md. Foyjul Islam Chowdhury, Md. Abdul Ahad & Md. Rafiqul Islam

Re: Unexpected Refused of British High Commission, Dhaka on a regular basis.

Dear Sir

Recently the UK Border agency declare new rules of Tier 4 student visa, if anyone wish to applying for a Tier 4 (General) visa to study a course below degree level (at NQF level 3-5), including English as a foreign language, foundation or pre-sessional courses, you will require a Secure English Language Test at B1 level on the Common European Framework of Reference (CEFR).

If you are applying to study at degree level and above you require a minimum English language level at B2 on the CEFR. If your sponsor is a Higher Education Institution (HEI), the sponsor may choose its own method of assessing your English language ability but if your sponsor is another type of institution you will require a Secure English Language Test to prove your B2 language ability. HEIs are typically universities and other publicly funded further education colleges. Where HEI sponsors consider a student to be gifted, the English language requirement may be waived for that student.

Most of the student are applying under Tier 4 student visa category before 20th April 2011 and we face Skype video interview through the college directly and they also mention it our CAS but recently we saw that some file are refused by the British High Commission Dhaka and the British High Commission clearly mentions they refused the application because you did not proof or show any evidence of Skype interview.

But the college authority mentions it our CAS and they also send us record of Skype interview. But it is a matter of great sorrow that the VFS authority (VFS Global is a commercial company, working in partnership with the UK Border Agency at the British High Commission here in Bangladesh providing services to help people apply for a visa to enter the United Kingdom) did not receive any CD or DVD for the security system and the VFS authority told to us if any thing require then BHC will call you. Now that is my question that how we send the proof of Skype record? Exactly we fill very tension for this. And I am also request to The BHC authority please give us the proper solution so that we the general student go to the UK without any difficulty. You know Bangladesh is a developing country and most of the people are facing difficulty for earning and living. Inflation rate is high, product price is high and day by day people become poor and poor. But we the new generation makes a dream to complete a degree from the UK and came back to our country, attend to make our mind to develop our country what I learn to the modern and civilized country of the UK. You know if any student failed to getting the visa then he will bear a loss almost BDT. 60,000 (500) (Sixty Thousand Taka) (TK. 2,865 for Medical + TK. 30,900 for Visa Fees + TK. 18,000 for college registration)

In view of the above circumstances we strongly believe that the British High Commission will see to the matter with importance and take necessary initiatives steps for the benefit of the common people.

Sincerely yours

Magician Subrata (2011-04-14 10:22:04)
SUBRATA BISWAS : Magic Icon of Bangladesh
Nothing seems impossible in the world of Magic. Sword penetrates body of a person still living him alive, Electric Saw dissects the body of a girl and again she is intact, girl floats up in the air, bird or flower appears out of now where, tongue is separated or neck chopped by guillotine but no physical harm is in fact done. People love Magic because that shows them in front of their eyes what they think impossible. It takes them to the universe of fantasy creating an illusion of reality. It once happened that a magician transformed some pieces of bricks into gold. After the show one woman burst out in tears and requested the magician to give her some golden pieces of bricks which she would pay as dowry to her would be son-in-law. The incident is embarrassing on one hand enlightening on the other. Dowry in marriage is a major social problem in our country which asks an urgent solution. The magician whose tricks sounded so real, as described in the previous paragraph, was none other than Magician Subrata Biswas. He was born in 10th January 1970 at Dhaka, Bangladesh. Subrata is the leading magic prodigies who gave his wonderful magic performance all over the country and abroad with grand success and his magic show has been highly praised by the press, public, electronic media and distinguished people of the society. The specialty of Mr. Subrata as a magician is that he always speaks about our society by magic. When he turns a black feather into white he just points out to the fact that the discrimination between the white and black skin is baseless and unjustified. Another attribute of Subratas magic is that he likes to present his tricks in a humorous way. He has developed some techniques of presentation which is mixed with comedy. Subrata is one of the most talented magicians of our country today. It is love and dedication to magic which prompted him to take it up seriously. Subrata started magic in 1980 through firstly Mr. Shaheen, then Mr. Ulfat Kabir & lastly Magic Guru, Mr. Jewel Aich. He completed home study course on magic from Chavez Magic School (USA) under Dale Salwak. He is now the member of many reputed institutions e.g. Singapore Magician Club, British Magical Society, London Magic Circle, The Academy of Magical Arts (USA), International Brotherhood of Magicians (USA) & International Magicians Society (IMS), USA. Magic is an art which is based on the theories of science. There is nothing supernatural in it. Subrata throws challenge to those claim supernatural power. He says if any body can prove it, I will give him one lakh taka. Subrata has got some special tricks in his receptacle. The most famous one is Buriganga Escape Illusion. In this trick he is locked in a box and splashed into Buriganga. He would get out of it in five seconds and another is Bijoy Sharani or Sangshad Bhaban disappear a entire day ! Subrata has showed magic in many countries including India, Nepal, Singapore, China several times. He has so far performed magic in about 1000 shows. It is often in newspaper ads that some magician would teach magic in five days or one week. According to Subrata these are all deception. He said, they are inexperienced and uneducated magicians and do so only to earn money in an unfair way. Magic is the blend of science and art which takes a long time to master. International Brotherhood of Magicians (USA) invites magicians every year to their annual convention from all over the world. But many of our magicians abused the opportunity taking people with them and dropping them in USA. And it was yielded great problem for the professionals here. Subrata regretted, we now get invitation from USA, but dont get visa, because the people in American Embassy cannot put trust on us. They reject us on the ground of previous record that the magicians or their companions did not come back to Bangladesh. The stalemate should be resolved for the sake of development of our magic industry. Benevolence is what stirs a noble heart, Subrata has decided to donate his eyes and other organs to be used for medical research after his death. He is also working for the rehabilitation of drug addicts. Subrata believes magic for humanity. In 1988 devastating flood in our country, he arranged charity shows and collected Tk. 20,000 for the distressed people. He won the best magician award from New York Magic Academy in 1994, Dhaka Television Reporters Association (TRAB) of Bangladesh award and Antora Sanjit Academy in 2002, Sher-e-Bangla Performance award in 2003, Bangabir Osmani Smrity award, Bhashani Smrity Award and B C A Sharbachha award in 2004 etc. The Magic of our country has much reputation outside. Subrata aspires to further develop the art of magic and uphold the position of Bangladesh in the realm of World Magic. (Magician Subrata Biswas, M.com & MBA, e-mail: subratabiswas2003@yahoo.com,

I'm writing here but i dont know whether it is of any help to you. My husband Mujibur Rahman Choudhury submitted settlement visa form on 4th November 2010 at sylhet visa application centre. On 26th January 2010 he was refused settlement visa on basis that not enough proof of marriage etc.

I am a British born female married to him for over 2 years, my father died who fought on ship in WW2 died immediately after my marriage and i needed time to grief. Also he is my wonderful husband and i cant stress enough. i spent so many phone cards (Lycatel)ringing him, but i could not show proof as it is not with my mobile, and also i had sent him an eid card on Eid-ul-Adha in late 2009 but he did not receive it due to UK postal strikes i can only assume. I can only hope you overturn ur view and ask him to review his case, as i dont know what else i could do if i can't prove our marriage is a prosperous one. Because of the refusal i am having to put starting a family on hold as appeals take long. I sincerely hope you call him to review his case and give him the surprise visa to make my life happier.
thank you so much
