APPEAL BANGLADESH was established in 1993 with the NGO Affairs Bureau and Directorate of Social Welfare and Foreign Donations Voluntary Activities Act 1978 of the People's Republic of Bangladesh.

APPEAL'S Mission: Facilitate empowerment of the marginalized segments of society where communities have a major role in decision-making affecting their direct and indirect needs and development. Target groups will exercise initiatives, be accountable for their own actions, and collectively ensure their socio-economic, political, and cultural development.
