 | BASIS to organise Tech Summit in USA on Oct 13

Bangladesh Association of Software and Information Services (BASIS) will hold a 'US-Bangladesh Technology Summit' in New York on October 13 to attract NRB professionals and entrepreneurs in USA to invest in Bangladesh as well as to provide technological support, reports UNB.
The Summit will be held from 11:00 am to 3:30 pm at Marriott Marquis Times Square in New York City, USA.
Talking to the news agency, BASIS president Mahboob Zaman informed that Finance Minister AMA Muhith would be the chief guest at the event. Bangladesh Bank Governor Dr Atiur Rahman and Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina's son, Sajeeb Wazed, will be present.
A number of non-resident Bangladeshi (NRB) IT entrepreneurs and professionals based in different states of USA will take part at the event.
The summit will also be joined by a large number of participants including top executives from Fortune 500 companies, NY-based leading IT software companies, globally reputed consulting firms, and local IT associations and chamber leaders.
