Bangladesh Paediatric Association

Bangladesh Paediatric Association (BPA) was founded in 1972. At present about 800 paediatricians from all corners of Bangladesh including all medical colleges are members of BPA. It is activity engaged in all the sectors related to child health including improvement of hospital care, newborn care, immunization, continuous professional development, child rights and child health policy issues.

BPA functions in close collaboration with the government, non-government organizations and a good number of paediatric subspecialty societies committed to the cause of child health such as Bangladesh Neonatal Forum (BNF), Bangladesh Perinatal Society (BPS), Paediatric Nephrology Society of Bangladesh (PNSB), Association of Paediatric Surgeons of Bangladesh (APSB), Pediatric Hematology & Oncology Society of Bangladesh (PHOSB), Bangladesh Pediatric Pulmonology Forum (BPPF), Bangladesh Society for Child Neurology, Development & Disability (BSCNDD), Bangladesh Pediatric Gastroenterology and Nutrition Society (BAPGANS), Bangladesh Society of Pediatric Infectious Disease (BSPID), Paediatric Cardiac Society of Bangladesh (PCSB).
