Was founded on 1983 in a campus of about 15 acres of land, about 56 km away from Dhaka city.The Industry was established by the Trustee Board as a Limited company.Then it was converted into a public limited company in 1989. Now IBN SINA TRUST owns 50% share of the industry and the public shares the rest 50%. The commercial production was started in MAY 1986 with only few standard finished pharmaceutical dosage forms.
