It aims to cater various needs of Bangalis at various levels living abroad and in Bangladesh by providing a range of services of their interests. eThikana was born as a patriotic tribute to my homeland Bangladesh. I have always felt an urge to do something for my country and this site is a contribution in that direction. With the development of Internet technology, it gave me an opportunity to contribute by presenting Bangladeshi resources on the Internet. I had this vision for several years to develop a web portal to Bangladesh which would be categorized in content, easily accessible, user-friendly and with simplified presentation. The content of this site is mainly focused on Bangladesh. |
