 | Report Broken URL |  |  | Bangladesh Community Development bcd.org.uk | |  | | | | Members of the Bangladeshi community founded Bangladesh Community Development, (BCD) in 1994 to address the difficulties encountered by British-Bangladeshis in Birmingham. BCD supports the Bangladesh community with projects that offer educational support to students of all ages; raise educational awareness among Bangladeshi and other Asian parents; provide the opportunity for Bangladeshi children to learn their mother tongue, and unemployed Bangladeshis with vocational training, employment related training courses and career development courses. These courses, run by BCD, improve people's self esteem and confidence enabling them to make informed decisions on issues that affect them and their families and to integrate and progress in all areas of their lives.
