With growing volume of business the yard was shifted in 1985 to its present location on the river Meghna, an hour's drive from the capital city Dhaka. Ananda Shipyard Officially handed over its first ship "Stella Maris" to a Danish Buyer. The naming ceremony of the first ship, a 2900 DWT multipurpose vessel took place at the Ananda Shipyard on 15 May 2008. |
